The chatbot uses Google Gemini as additional technology.

2. Data Processing and Transfer to the USA

Data Controller: The website operator, defined in the legal notice of this website, is the data controller for the personal data processed through this chatbot.
Data Processor: Google LLC, located in the United States, acts as a data processor on our behalf.
Data Transfer: By using this chatbot, you acknowledge and agree that your personal data, including the content of your chat conversations, will be transmitted to and processed by Google in the United States. A transfer only takes place when you sent a query to the chatbot. Simply loading the chatbot doesn’t transfer any data.
Data Storage: The chat conversations are stored only on our servers, located in Germany, which is part of the European Union. Google, as our data processor, only processes the data to provide the chatbot functionality; Google does not store the chat conversations on its servers for its own purposes beyond the immediate processing required to operate the chatbot.
Legal Basis for Transfer: The data transfer to the USA is based on DPF: Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. This certification covers the specific data processing activities of this chatbot.
